We are “over the moon” about this gorgeous, futuristic Kennedy Space Center event. CHIC was honored to partner with the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complexto help design and execute the opening of their new exhibit “Heroes & Legends.”
The attraction, which highlights our galactic veterans, was a huge undertaking for the center. So it was only fitting that they set the scene for their celebrity guests and esteemed associates in the Rocket Garden. This one-of-a-kind venue features rockets from NASA’s Mercury, Gemini, and Apollo programs.

Given the nature of the Kennedy Space Center event and the status of the guests, we knew that we had to keep things exceptionally luxurious – but with a fun, futuristic twist! During the preliminary design stages, our clients requested a format that kept a comfortable room flow, and also stuck to the patriotic palette of red, white, and blue.

We accomplished this by creating two vignettes featuring our LED Banquettes, Luna Coffee Tables, and sleek White Leather Cubes in front of the unique rocket backdrop. Further down the courtyard, under the warm glow of festive market lights, we included our Cantera collection with LED accents. Not only were we aiming to provide comfort for our guests, but we wanted to focus on styles that gave an ultramodern vibe as a nod towards the celebration of our astronauts and their travels.
The overall look was the perfect combination of LED, upscale white leather seating, and colorful accents. It was a thrill to work at such a unique venue
